Treefort Music Fest 2015

We challenge you to use the city's open data to create a unique app or website that benefits Boise. Come collaborate or hack-solo! Create a team in advance or form one with new Hackfort friends. Remember, great apps don't just come from programmers - designers and QA folks are welcome. So bring your coding tools and creativity!

Each participant must purchase a 3-day Hackfort badge and then sign up here. Hackers can start working on apps now by accessing the City of Boise'sopen data.

We've also set aside Friday evening, March 27, 5pm to midnight at Trailheadas an Open Hack session - time and space devoted to designing, coding, testing and sharing your apps. Free pizza and beer (with ID) provided and Hackfort 2 T-shirts for the first 100 to arrive! Hackers can also finish their apps at Hackfort Headquarters on Saturday, March 28, 10am - 1pm.

All apps must be completed no later than 1pm on Saturday. One representative must be available to demo their submissions with Hackathon judges at Hackfort HQ on Saturday, March 28, 1 - 3:30pm.

Bring home the glory! We'll put you and your app all over our socials!

• City of Boise will post your app to the appropriate app stores for public use, or post links if designing a web app
• Top apps receive prime passes to Treefort 2016
• Winning team receives a private legal consultation with Perkins Coie, LLC
• Treefort swag giveaways

Winners must provide the source of their apps to the City of Boise for building and making publicly available.
